Job summary

Novant Health’s Ballantyne Medical Center in Charlotte, NC seeks an RN for full-time night shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) on the General Med/Surg team. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients, assess needs, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure in the state, and BLS certification; experience in acute care is preferred. Relocation assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients with a variety of diagnoses and needs.
• Assess patients, develop individualized care plans and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Preferred:

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
