Job summary

Integrated Medical Services (IMS) seeks a professional Registered Nurse PRN for its Gastro Lab in Phoenix, AZ. The RN will facilitate treatments and assist physicians with plans, upholding IMS's mission and values in daily work.

This PRN role requires an AZ RN license and a High School Diploma or GED, with strong interpersonal skills. Flexibility for variable hours and potential travel is needed.

Qualifications

• Arizona RN license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and safeguarding PHI required.
• Ability to work in a state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Take patients' medical histories and vital signs and record in the EHR system.
• Examine and assist with the treatment of patients.
• Order necessary laboratory tests and track results; ensure physician review.
• Record progress notes in the EHR system.
• Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans.
• Order and carry out chemotherapy, including starting IVs, injections, and blood draws.
• Travel may be required depending on business needs.
• Hours may vary and be outside normal office hours.

IMS is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Registered Nurse PRN in our Gastro Lab. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for facilitating treatments to patients in the office and assisting the physician with treatment plans, Instill the IMS mission, vision and values in the work performed.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a physician, the RN will take patients medical histories and vital signs and record the information in the EHR system
• Examine and assist with the treatment of patients
• Order necessary laboratory tests and track results and make sure the physician reviews the results in a timely manner
• Record progress notes in EHR system
• Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans
• Order and carry out chemotherapy: including, starting IV's, perform injections, draw blood samples
• Travel may be required depending on business needs
• Hours may vary and be outside of normal office hours depending on business needs

Requirement Education & Experience

• Registered Nurse with a licensure in Arizona
• High School Diploma or GED
• Requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures
• Requires the ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion
• Must have knowledge of and follow HIPAA guidelines and secure Protected Health Information at all times
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
