The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. May be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. This position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate.

The Staff Registered Nurse's duties include, but are not limited to:
The RN reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Mental health staff must be able to assist with physical restraint of patients using the Behavior Management Technique System. Additional physical or respiratory requirements may apply. Standard precautions must be followed to prevent exposure to infections, blood, body fluids, chemicals, and electrical equipment.
