Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services, a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month, a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER, advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health and oncology care. Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines program.

Job Description

Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Apply principles of Patient‑Centered Care as the foundation for all nursing care, oversee and guide employees under your supervision, and demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent. BSN preferred.
  • Experience: One‑year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
  • License/Certification: Current RN license in the State of Nevada; Current BLS, ACLS (adult patients), PALS (pediatric patients) or NRP (neonatal patients) as required. Additional certifications as required by facility, specialty, or department.
  • Other: Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
