Job Description

Responsible for collaborating with healthcare professionals to treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, maintains records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients, and performs related duties.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Maintains accurate, complete healthcare records and reports.
2. Administers medications and monitors patients for side effects and reactions.
3. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
5. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
6. Records patient vital signs and medical information.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in L&D Nursing or relevant area.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
• Fetal monitoring course within the first year.
