Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 12x3 night shift to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. The role includes supervising team members and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure age-appropriate care on a busy campus just off Dallas Parkway.

Ideal candidates are BSN-educated with current BLS (ACLS preferred by department) and Texas licensure, plus at least six months of critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• ACLS certification required by department.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• At least 6 months critical care RN experience.

Job Description

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department ACLS
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 6 months critical care RN experience

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
