Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center in Celina, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-level, patient-centered care during a 12X3 night shift 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. You will apply the nursing process, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and supervise other team members in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), a current Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least six months of critical care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ACLS certification as required by department.

Job Description

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department ACLS
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 6 months critical care RN experience

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more.
