Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Laredo, a 183-bed acute care facility in Laredo, TX, seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with our policies and philosophy. You will support the healthcare team and exemplify Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current state nursing license.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP (or obtained within six months of employment) in required specialty.
• De-escalation training (obtained CPI within six months of employment) in required specialty.
• Prefer one-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• BLS (or obtained during orientation)

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
