Responsibilities

• Take vital signs in exam rooms and document in EMR
• Review and update medication lists for accuracy
• Complete referrals and track patient compliance
• Review prescriptions electronically for provider submission
• Obtain patient consent for procedures
• Educate patients on medications, tests, and home care
• Maintain clean, safe care areas and proper specimen labeling
• Communicate with colleagues to ensure quality patient care
