Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital North in Dayton, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, mixed acuity role on a 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. schedule, 72 hours per pay. The RN will partner with patients, families, and the inter-professional team to provide holistic care in a safe environment.

Required: Ohio RN license; BSN preferred; no prior job-related work experience; strong multitasking, organization, and communication skills to manage a diverse caseload within the department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid Ohio RN license.
• No prior job-related work experience.
• Must be able to multitask with interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the department scope of service.
• Partner with patients, families and inter-professional team to improve outcomes.
• Apply the nursing process and evidence-based principles in practice.
• Ensure compliance with Ohio Nurse Practice Act and Nursing Code of Ethics.
