Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered NICU care during the 12x3 night shift. You will perform assessments, plans, and evaluations while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to meet age-appropriate care standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association)
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 1 year RN (NICU) experience

Job Description

Your Job:Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.
