Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is hiring a Registered Nurse for NICU with 1 year RN NICU experience. This 12X3 night shift role involves direct and indirect patient care, leadership of the team, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary staff.

The successful candidate will have a BSN preferred, Texas RN license or eligibility, and BLS certification. The unit requires weekend and holiday shifts based on needs, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with Texas RN licensure or eligibility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• At least 1 year RN NICU experience is preferred.
• Current certifications as required by the department.

Job Description :

Your Job: Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association)
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 1 year RN (NICU) experience
