Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a flagship hospital with 595 beds and a Level I Trauma Center, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shifts. You will deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process, supervise team members, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate care.

Applicants should have a nursing degree (BSN preferred), Texas RN licensure, BLS, and NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association).
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: at least 1 year RN (NICU) experience.

Your Job:

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association)
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 1 year RN (NICU) experience
