Job summary

Tucson Rehabilitation Hospital in Tucson, AZ is seeking a registered nurse to plan and deliver comprehensive patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, following the nursing process from assessment to evaluation. You will collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff, develop care plans, communicate clinical changes to physicians, and participate in discharge planning.

A $10K sign-on bonus is offered, plus $1,500 for CRRN potential, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification required by the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, intervene, evaluate).
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participate in discharge planning process.

Position Summary:

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable

Desired Experience:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
