Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks an adaptable Registered Nurse for a float pool across Preop/PACU and OR Circulating roles.

You will move between Bethesda Chevy Chase, Piccard Surgery Center, SurgCenter of Silver Spring, Glen Echo, and Chevy Chase centers as surgical volume requires, delivering high-quality perioperative care. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in Circulator or PreOp/PACU, Maryland RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active Maryland RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• 1–2 years of experience as Circulator or in PreOp/PACU.

Responsibilities

• Support perioperative services across multiple ambulatory surgery centers in the Silver Spring/Chevy Chase area.
• Float to listed centers (Bethesda Chevy Chase, Piccard Surgery Center, SurgCenter of Silver Spring, Glen Echo, Surgery Center of Chevy Chase) based on volume and staffing needs.
• Deliver safe, patient-focused perioperative care across settings.

RN Float Pool for Preop/PACU and OR Circulator

Silver Spring/Chevy Chase Area

We are seeking a highly adaptable, flexible and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to support our perioperative services across multiple ambulatory surgery centers in the Silver Spring/Chevy Chase area.

This role is ideal for experienced nurses in PreOp/PACU and/or OR Circulating who thrive in fast-paced surgical environments, are flexible with their schedule, and are comfortable floating between locations to ensure seamless patient care and operational excellence. We PRN positions available where you will be required to float to the following centers based on surgical volume and staffing needs:

• Bethesda Chevy Chase
• Piccard Surgery Center
• SurgCenter of Silver Spring
• Glen Echo Surgery Center
• Surgery Center of Chevy Chase

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active and current RN license in Maryland
• BLS and ACLS required
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Circulator or in PreOp/PACU
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Rate of pay: $54 for PRN
