Job summary

Baptist Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool Premium Pay to support Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, and Jay, FL, including Acute, Critical Care, and ED areas.

The role is Full-time with a 0.9 FT commitment and requires RN licensure in Florida or a compact state, plus BLS and ACLS on hire. The position offers premium pay and broad float opportunities across Baptist Health Care System, with responsibilities spanning assessment, care planning, and coordination with patients

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients.
• Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic plan of care for each patient, in collaboration with each patient/significant other.
• Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary for the care of the patient.
• Evaluates the identified problems, care provided, and patient’s responses are reassessed to meet patient and family needs and assure overall quality of care delivered.
• Maintains up to date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team, to ensure quality care.
• Performs all responsibilities/duties required by the department as defined in the scope of service, to ensure that the unique nature of the client is addressed.
• Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit to facilitate the department’s unit’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
• Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure. Pursues professional growth and development.
• Float throughout Baptist Heath Care System in one or more areas of practice as required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides care and education for the patient based on their illness, symptoms, and courses of treatment. This position manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

We are recruiting for our Premium Pay RN Float pool for Full- Time and PRN to cover Acute, Critical Care and Emergency Department (you only need to be qualified in one area).

Location: Pensacola, Gulf Breeze and Jay
