Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL invites a licensed Registered Nurse to join our Stroke and acute care teams. The role emphasizes rapid response in a high-acuity setting, with a focus on patient safety and collaborative care delivery.

Eligible candidates possess Florida RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and ACLS readiness within 6 months of hire. We require 2 years of recent bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital and prefer BSN.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
• 2 years’ of recent bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
• BSN is preferred

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 2 years experience Required
