Job summary

AHMC Healthcare Inc. seeks a Staff Registered Nurse in Riverside, CA to assume responsibility for a group of patients during a shift, delivering care through the nursing process and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The RN will contribute to plan of care, document assessments, and maintain therapeutic environments. Required are a California RN license, BLS, ACLS (and NIHSS within 90 days of employment) plus a dysrhythmia certification.

Job description

The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The RN shall, for their patient, collaborate in the formulation of the overall plan of care for the patient, as evidenced by written documentation. Identifies needs and problems specific to biophysical, cognitive, developmental, emotional, socio-cultural, and spiritual. Demonstrates accountability for on-going awareness of the status of assigned patients. Collects and documents data appropriate to the nature and severity of the condition.

Current California RN License. Current Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider) certification. Current ACLS. Dysrhythmia certification. Current NIHSS certification, or within 90 days of employment.
