Job summary

Cooper University Health Care seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional bedside care within a multidisciplinary team. You will supervise and deliver nursing care using the nursing process and maintain high standards of patient service.

Requirements include NLN-accredited nursing education, active NJ RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years in acute care; CNOR preferred. Hours are 7 pm–7 am, weekends and holidays; full-time position in South Jersey with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of acute care experience, including one year in the specialty area.
• Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ-RN License and BLS certification required; CNOR preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise patient care across a designated group of patients.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver accountable care and therapeutic communication.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and Cooper core values.

Short Description

The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required

Experience Required

Must have at least 2 years of acute care experience with at least one of these years being in the specialty area in which you are applying.

Education Requirements

Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).

Current NJ-BLSCertification(Basic Life Support).

Current NJ-CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room) preferred.

Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS).

Special Requirements
