VillageMD is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its physician-led, patient-centric network. You will deliver compassionate care, administer medications, perform phlebotomy, and support clinical workflows in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in the U.S.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred
• Phlebotomy experience required
• BLS certification preferred; must obtain within 90 days of employment
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates kindness and compassion in patient interactions
• Prepares and administers medications per provider directions
• Performs point-of-care testing, EKGs, suturing, dressing changes
• Collects vitals, histories, and screenings
• Educates patients on medications and diet
• Authorizes prescription refills as directed
• Prepares patients, rooms, and supplies for visits
• Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens
• Maintains clean treatment rooms and equipment
• Performs quality controls and equipment checks

Job Description

• Demonstrates kindness and compassion in all patient interactions
• Prepares and administers PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by the Provider, utilizing the "Rights of Vaccine or Medication Administration"
• Performs point-of-care laboratory tests, EKGs as ordered or indicated, and suture/staple removal, and dressing changes, and other patient care activities
• Collects and documents vital signs, histories, and screenings
• Provides instruction to the patient regarding medications and diet
• Authorizes prescription refills as directed
• Prepares patients, room, and supplies for visit or examination
• Performs phlebotomy and correctly processes specimens
• Cleans and maintains treatment rooms and equipment
• Performs quality controls and equipment checks

Experience to drive change as a Registered Nurse

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers preferred; required within 90 days of employment
• High School Diploma/Equivalency required
• Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER preferred
• Spanish speaking preferred

Pay Range

Pay Range: $22.02 - $27.07 Hourly
