Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our County Line Rd Office team. The RN will assist physicians in patient care and teaching, with emphasis on IV therapy in an oncology setting.

Candidates must be licensed in their state, with CPR and BLS, English fluency, and a valid driver's license for travel to clinics. Hematology/oncology experience is preferred and benefits include competitive wages and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Residence with IV therapy experience.
• Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire; FCS provides BLS course.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.
• The ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
