Job summary

DaVita is seeking a flexible Float Registered Nurse to join our dialysis team, rotating between the Northwood Clinic in Northwood and Point Place Clinic in Toledo. You will deliver outpatient dialysis care in a fast-paced setting and partner with diverse clinical staff to ensure smooth patient transitions.

We welcome adaptive professionals with ADN, and BSN preferred, RN license in Ohio, and experience in ICU/CCU/ER/Med-Surg as a plus.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ADN degree is required; BSN preferred.
• ICU/CCU/ER/Med-Surg experience is beneficial for a float role but not required.
• CNN/CDN certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between two clinics, providing outpatient dialysis care.
• Deliver dialysis treatment and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with DaVita clinical staff across locations to ensure smooth transitions.
• Support and oversee patient care alongside Patient Care Technicians in changing environments.

Schedule - Full Time, Day Shift

Are you a highly adaptable RN who loves a dynamic environment and thrives on a change of scenery? DaVita is seeking a flexible, quick-thinking Float RN to provide life-sustaining dialysis care.

In this fast-paced, collaborative role, no two days are exactly the same. You’ll rotate between two clinics working directly with diverse patient populations.

What You’ll Do:

• Embrace Variety: Float seamlessly between two clinics, bringing your expertise where it's needed most.
• Deliver Critical Care: Provide specialized outpatient dialysis treatment.
• Collaborate Broadly: Partner with diverse DaVita clinical staff across different locations to ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Drive Quality: Monitor patients, adjust treatments, and ensure top-tier clinical outcomes.
• Lead on the Go: Support and oversee patient care alongside Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in ever-changing environments.

What to Expect as a Float RN:

• Dynamic Scheduling: Daily schedules and locations may change based on patient needs, giving you the variety you crave. Shifts include regular shifts and every other Saturday.
• Comprehensive Paid Training: No prior dialysis experience required! We provide all the specialized training you need to succeed in nephrology.
• Constant Growth: You'll build relationships and expand your clinical network and expertise.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is highly beneficial for a float role, but not required.
• CNN/CDN certification (preferred).
