Responsibilities

• $15,000 Bonus Available for Full Time! *
• The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• The Float RN may be assigned to multiple units based on need and must maintain competency across all units.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, guides patient/family teaching, and supervises other nursing personnel.
• Communicates with physicians about patient condition changes, diagnostic results, and symptoms.
• Responds quickly and accurately to clinical changes, maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (ARC/AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Current ACLS (ARC/AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Current PALS (ARC/AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification within 6 months of hire and annually maintained.
• Ability to float to multiple units and maintain competency within assigned areas.
