Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to assist physicians in patient care and education. The role includes IV therapy experience, a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule, and potential float to multiple clinics in north Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy. The ability to assess patient needs and condition. Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred not required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Float: This position will float to multiple clinics in the north Florida area.
