Job summary

Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital, part of Orlando Health, is seeking a registered nurse to administer patient care in acute care settings. This role involves assessing needs, developing plans, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

You will document care, follow evidence-based standards, mentor staff, and participate in ongoing professional development. Florida RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required in certain areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains Florida RN license and BLS certification.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC are required for certain areas.
• Maintains eNLC multistate license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s needs and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Respects diversity and builds respectful relationships with team members.
• Functions as a patient and family advocate.
• Documents patient care in a knowledgeable and consistent manner.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage care.
• Demonstrates caring practices and supports patient safety and comfort.
• Delegates tasks to healthcare team members as appropriate.
• Maintains compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
