Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Jacksonville, FL to coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and manage transitions of care. The RN will lead across practice areas, mentor staff, and participate in quality improvement efforts, while maintaining safe, evidence-based practices.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure, active BLS (ACLS as applicable), and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• RN license required by state requirements.
• BLS (ACLS if applicable) competency required.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care, education, and transitions of care.
• Provide leadership across practice settings and contribute to quality improvement.
• Mentor and teach colleagues; participate in committees or projects.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity and resources.
