Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse First Assistant in Crescent City, CA. The role supports the surgeon in the operating room, assists with exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions, and participates in preoperative planning.

Qualified candidates have an RN license, completion of an accredited RNFA program, at least 2 years OR experience, and BLS/ACLS certification; CRNFA preferred. The position offers full-time, part-time, and per diem options with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing is required.
• Completion of an accredited RNFA program with didactic and clinical components.
• Minimum of 2 years operating room experience with scrub and/or circulating duties.
• CRNFA certification from a recognized body is preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification current.

Responsabilités

• Assist the surgeon in the OR with exposure, hemostasis, and other tasks per directives.
• Conduct preoperative assessments to determine the care plan.
• Ensure sterilization and preparation of instruments and equipment.
• Provide postoperative care, monitor for complications, and manage pain as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other staff for comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Completion of an accredited RNFA program, including both didactic and clinical components
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience with surgical scrub and/or circulating duties
• Certification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) from a recognized body preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon in the operating room by providing exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions according to the surgeon's directives
• Conduct preoperative assessments, including reviewing patient history, to determine the appropriate plan of care
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared before surgery
• Provide postoperative care by assessing for complications, applying dressings, and offering pain management solutions
• Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical process
