BrothersTech in Chico, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join the perioperative team. The RNFA will serve as the First Assistant to the Surgeon in the operating room and Labor & Delivery, providing direct perioperative care and supporting surgeons throughout procedures.

This 16-week contract offers a strong chance of long-term extension. Shifts are 8- or 10-hour days starting at 6:30 AM, with competitive hourly pay of $98–$105.

• CNOR certification required.
• California RN License current.
• CPR certification current.
• ACLS certification current.
• Must be available for 8- or 10-hour day shifts starting at 6:30 AM and alternating weekends.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join the perioperative team in Chico, CA.

The RNFA will function as a First Assistant to the Surgeon in the Operating Room and Labor & Delivery Suite, providing direct patient care and supporting surgeons throughout operative procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RNFA / First Assist / Perioperative RN seeking a competitive contract assignment with a strong possibility of extension for the long term.

RNFA RESPONSIBILITIES

• Function as First Assistant to the Surgeon in the OR and Labor & Delivery Suite
• Provide direct perioperative patient care within the expanded RNFA role
• Assist the surgeon throughout surgical procedures
• Apply advanced perioperative nursing knowledge, skills and clinical judgment
• Perform duties under the direction and supervision of the surgeon
• Support safe, efficient and high-quality surgical care
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing and the multidisciplinary surgical team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) experience
• CNOR — Certified Nurse Operating Room
• Current California RN License through the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR Certification
• Current ACLS
• Ability to work 8- or 10-hour day shifts starting at 6:30 AM
• Availability for alternating weekends

COMPENSATION

$98–$105/hour
