Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Current Maryland RN license.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) biennial.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP or equivalent for specialty areas upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Nursing Process for assessment and care planning.
• Initiate and update written nursing plans of care.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient activities with health team members.
• Document patient status and plans of care accurately.
• Educate patients and families using teaching principles.
• Delegate tasks to appropriate ancillary staff.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and monitoring.
