Job summary

High Watch Recovery Center is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse for the evening shift in a full-time role. The RN will manage health issues, coordinate care for guests, and work with the health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient status, in line with state and federal nursing standards.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and CT licensure, with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed and PRN meds to guests.
• Respond to health concerns and make appropriate assessments.
• Maintain medication administration records.
• Transcribe prescriber orders.
• Coordinate scheduling for guests to see Medical Providers.
• Assist guests with prescription refills.
• Document notes accurately and neatly.
• Maintain med room organization and cleanliness.
• Perform nursing assessments of guest health problems.
• Provide supportive and restorative care.
• Deliver health counseling and teaching.
• Collaborate in implementing total health care regimens.
• Execute medical regimens under licensed provider direction.
• Perform urine toxicology testing.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Licensed Registered Nurse in CT

CPR certification

One year of experience preferred

Registered Nurse-Evenings

FULL TIME HOURLY Professional High Watch, Kent, CT, US

Full-time evening shift, including every other weekend & every other holiday. Flexibility to work five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week. Days may vary based on departmental needs.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is a licensed nurse who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for guests in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). Medical clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dispense prescribed and PRN meds to guests
• Respond to the guest’s health concerns, making appropriate assessments and referrals
• Maintain medication administration record
• Transcribe prescriber orders
• Review incoming guest history and physical forms and address any concerns with appropriate staff
• Oversee scheduling of guests to see Medical Providers
• Assist guests in obtaining prescription refills
• Document notes accurately and neatly
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of med room
• Nursing assessment of guest’s actual/potential health problems
• Provide supportive and restorative care
• Health counseling and teaching
• Collaboration in the implementation of the total health care regimen
• Execution of the medical regimen under the direction of a licensed provider
• Perform urine testing for toxicology
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
