Job description

Position: RN - Adult Psychiatry
Location: Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL
Type: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Shift: Evening (3:00-11:30 pm) with rotating weekends and holidays

Responsibilities Include

• Providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to adult psychiatric patients
• Utilizing the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Guiding and supervising unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Contributing to safety and high-quality patient experiences

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• BLS/CPR Certification from the American Heart Association
• Adult Psychiatry experience preferred
