Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for Adult Psychiatry at Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with evening hours (3:00-11:30pm) and rotating weekends/holidays. License in IL required; NLN-accredited program; BSN preferred; BLS/CPR certification; psychiatry experience preferred.

• Current IL nursing licensure required.
• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care for adults on a unit.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the care plan using nursing process.
• Guide unlicensed staff in delivering patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will need:

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR Certifications ; American Heart Association

• Experience: Adult Psychiatry Experience preferred

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
