Job Summary

This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis and at the unit level. The role is responsible for supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The role supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintaining the competency of clinical staff, and managing resources related to patient care.

Requirements

• Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.

Experience

• Preferred: Recent acute care experience.

Certifications

• Required: Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as required by law or regulation; AHA BLS; and if applicable, AHA ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPI.
