Overflow unit for winter census
RTO after booking is not allowed and is not permitted on site. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could result in cancellation and DNR.
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 yrs OR 1 year with travel experience
Traveler Experience required: No, unit accepts 1st time travelers.
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: MS/telemetry experience required, telemetry experience preferred, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required, use of rapid response teams required, blood product administration required, central line care/management required, peripheral line care/management required, nasal cannula required, non-invasive airway management required, isolation precautions required
Certs: BLS and NIH required.
JOB DETAILS:
Target Ratios: 1:6-7
Shift: 12hr Nights (18:45-07:15) Tues-Thurs schedule with occasional weekends.
Float Requirement: Floating as needed. May float to sister unit which is ER holding coverage.

Holiday RTO: Cannot approve RTO on 12/24 or 12/25!
Patient Diagnoses: General surgery and medical tele cardiac telemetry/medical telemetry. Various diagnoses requiring medical intervention or surgical procedures, including medical tele patients. Overflow for winter census.
