Legacy Staffing partners with a world-class hospital in Cleveland, OH to hire an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN). This role is a 3x12-hour shift opportunity from 11:00 PM to 11:30 AM, offering a competitive pay range and the chance to work in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a world-class hospital in Cleveland, OH to hire an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN). This is a 3x12 hour shift opportunity, working 11:00 PM - 11:30 AMwith a competitive pay range.

This role focuses on providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment, assessing and treating patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions, responses to treatment, and changes in status.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders in accordance with established standards of care.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning and follow-up needs.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.
• Participate in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License in hand.
• Minimum of 12 months of recent permanent Emergency Department (ER) experience.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Current AHA ACLS Certification.
• Current AHA PALS Certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
• One recent professional reference from a Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), Supervisor, or Director within the Emergency Department specialty is required for submission.
• All requirements listed in the job description and submission requirements are non-negotiable with no exceptions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional emergency or trauma nursing certifications.
• Licensed military RN experience in an emergency or acute care setting.

Schedule:

• Hours: 3:00 PM - 3:30 AM; 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Flexible scheduling based on unit needs
• Holiday and weekend requirements may apply

Physical Requirements:

• Full range of body motion, including patient handling and lifting.
• Manual and finger dexterity with strong hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
• Medium work requirements, including exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
