Job summary

Lumera Healthcare Group in Chicago seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, educate families, and support recovery with minimal supervision. You will work closely with physicians and nurses to implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include monitoring, medication administration, and maintaining safety/hygiene standards across the facility. This is a full-time role with a competitive pay package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a registered nurse.
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
• Adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess needs.
• Observe and interpret patient symptoms and communicate to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure, injections) and fill inpatient charts.
• Adjust and administer patient medications per physician’s orders.
• Maintain hygiene and safety in facilities (decontaminating equipment, surfaces, beds).
• Provide immediate medical care in emergencies.
• Assist surgeons during operations.
• Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.

Job Description

We’re looking for a RegisteredNurse to care for our patients with compassion and one who can facilitate their speedy recovery.The candidate will be responsible for educating them and theirfamilies on prevention methods and healthy habits. Ideally, thecandidate should be a responsible, gentle and well-trained professionalwho can provide exceptional nursing care with minimal supervisionwhilst following health and safety guidelines faithfully andconsistently. The goal is to promote the patient's well-being byproviding high quality nursing care.
