Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Per Diem Endoscopy RN for day shift coverage in Exeter, NH. The role involves delivering professional nursing care across endoscopy procedures, with a focus on efficient admitting, recovery and discharge processes.

Candidates should hold NH RN license (or a compact state), BCLS and ACLS certifications, and CGRN within 24 months. Per diem shifts require regular calls and availability for weekend coverage as training completes.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients in the endoscopy setting, including admitting, recovering and discharging patients and GI endoscopy procedures.
• Support a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and teamwork.
• Adapt to shifts and per diem requirements, including weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

This position provides professional nursing care for patients within the endoscopy setting, admitting, recovering and discharging patients and GI endoscopy procedures. The Endoscopy Center is one of the largest and most advanced endoscopy units outside the Boston area. The outpatient process created in the new environment makes it a much easier and more fluid process for patients, families and staff. Good organizational skills are needed for this very fast-paced department.

PER DIEM REQUIREMENT: at least 3 shifts per month (including summer Months, MidJune through Labor Day).

Staff are required to take call at least 3 times per month (including 1 weekend call shift monthly). (call is not required until fully trained)

Requirements

• RN License-NH state or any other compact state
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certified or within 6 months of hire
• Certification CGRN within 24 months or once certification criteria are met.
• Will consider backgrounds from ED, ICU, OR, or procedural areas.
