Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse - Endoscopy for full-time days. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm with flexible start times and on-call duties across days, nights, and holidays.

You will render professional nursing care, assess and monitor patients, document observations, and delegate tasks to the team as needed. An ADN or BSN is required, IL RN licensure, CPR, ACLS and PALS within specified timelines. Endoscopy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN required within five years.
• Illinois RN license current; CPR (BLS) certification.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.

• Provide professional nursing care, assess and monitor patient condition.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

• Hours: M-F 6a to 6:30p (flexible start times) Call Requirements (including Days, Nights, Holidays)

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education:

  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

• License/Certification:

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position

  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position

• Experience:

  • Previous Endoscopy experience preferred
