Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Endoscopy in Elmhurst, IL, for a full-time position. Hours are 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call and flexible start times.

The role involves professional nursing care, patient assessment, plan and evaluation of care, and delegation of tasks as part of a clinical team. Required: IL RN license, CPR, ACLS and PALS within set timelines; BSN preferred within 5 years; Endoscopy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher; BSN required within 5 years from start date.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• PALS within 90 days of start date.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care; assesses patient condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress and records observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Works as a team member to fulfill unit goals.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education:

  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

• License/Certification:

  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position

  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position

• Experience:

  • Previous Endoscopy experience preferred
