Job description

Join to apply for the Registered Nurse, Endoscopy role at Capital Markets Placement.

Endo RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to: Director of Endoscopy Department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
  • Documenting patient care given.
  • Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
  • Evaluating learning needs of patients and families, providing education tailored to age, culture, and condition.
  • Advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Current RN license in TX; provisional license for new graduates with specific conditions.
  • BCLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
  • Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and stress management skills.
