Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Endoscopy Care Unit within Peri-Operative/Surgical Services. The RN must hold a Nevada license and may pursue BSN. BLS/ACLS/PALS and sedation certifications are required, with SGNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• Moderate Sedation, in-house certification.

• Minimum one-year acute care hospital experience in area of specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse of Endoscopy Care Units, as part of Peri-Operative/Surgical Services is a clinically competent Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Care Unit.
• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Endoscopy Unit.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Staff Nurse of Endoscopy Care Units, as part of Peri-Operative/ Surgical Services is a clinically competent Registered Nurse in the area of the Endoscopy Care Unit; working within the provisions laid down by the Nevada State Board of Nursing, N.R.S. 449- and N.A.C

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license

• BSN preferred

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

• Moderate Sedation, in-house certification

• SGNA or equivalent national certification

• Minimum one-year acute care hospital experience in area of specialty preferred
