Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a registered nurse to join the Endoscopy team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. This part-time day-shift role focuses on patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications include an ADN with to BSN within 5 years, RN licensure, 1–2 years Endoscopy experience, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • New hires must obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of Endoscopy nursing experience preferred.
  • Registered Nurse licensure required.
  • BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards.
  • Safely administer medications, treatments and utilize equipment according to policy.
  • Advocate for patients while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Recognize and respond to emergencies appropriately.
  • Supervise delegated tasks and ensure quality care delivery.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through continuous learning and collaboration.

Part Time Day Shift - TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital

Location:

Work Schedule:
  • Part Time Days - (60 hours bi-weekly)
  • Weekend rotation
  • Holiday rotation
  • On call rotation
Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high quality, patient centered care. The RN performs comprehensive assessments, develops and updates care plans, administers treatments safely, and evaluates patient outcomes. Job Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree - Nursing (Required)
  • New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in an Endoscopy setting
  • Registered Nurse licensure (Required)
  • ACLS PALS may be required but is dependent on unit or department Preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
