Job summary

Central Vermont Medical Center, part of the University of Vermont Health network, seeks an Endoscopy RN to work across 2-3 procedure rooms and assist with in-room sedation, bronchoscopies, and capsule endoscopies. You will support pre- and post-procedure care, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role includes Monday-Friday on-call 6pm-8pm with rotating shifts and offers a $10K RN sign-on bonus for full-time positions (pro-rated for part-time).

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• Appropriate experience in specific clinical area varies by unit.

Responsibilities

• Support bronchoscopy, transesophageal echo, paracentesis, and capsule endoscopy as needed.

Job description

Unit Description: As a nurse in Endoscopy at the Central Vermont Medical Center you would be working in all phases of care including hands on assisting in 2-3 procedure rooms. In addition to endoscopies you would be assisting with in room sedation, bronchoscopies, transesophageal echoes, paracentesis and capsule endoscopies. You would provide compassionate care and assist the patient from pre-procedure through to discharge from recovery.

On-call: Monday-Friday 6pm-8pm rotating call
