Job summary

Aria Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing functions performed by CNAs, coordinating care with other disciplines in the facility.

The RN will ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, administer medications, document resident information, participate in care conferences, and strive for safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and active RN license in Wisconsin.
• Experience delivering quality patient care in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to administer medications as ordered by physicians and document accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Review medication orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Transcribe physician orders.
• Document all resident information and notify physician/family as needed.
• Assist in Admission/Discharge processes.
• Complete accident/incident reports and follow-up investigations.
• Participate in care conferences and care planning updates.
• Maintain rapport with all disciplines to meet resident needs.
• Interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Participate in continuing education programs.
