Job summary

The McLaren Health Care Corporation is seeking a registered nurse for full-time on-site care at Michigan facilities. The role emphasizes clinical expertise, collaboration, and a patient-centered care plan within CPM and Caring-Quality Model frameworks.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, continuously learn through certification and education, and demonstrate leadership by serving as a clinical resource and role model. SBAR and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• License to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Competent within 6 months of hire with all age groups within defined patient population.
• BLS certified.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.

• Collaborate with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant other’s changing needs & goals, utilizing CPM and Caring-Quality Model.

The McLaren system includes 12 hospitals across the state, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, a 730-member employed primary and specialty care physician network, commercial and Medicaid HMOs covering more than 242,000 Michigan lives, home health, infusion and hospice providers, pharmacy services, a clinical laboratory network, and a wholly owned medical malpractice insurance company. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications and promotes optimal level of health. Accountable for integrating care within scope of practice licensure, relevant education and experience. Reports to shift Team Leader and is accountable to the Department Manager. Utilizes Policies and Procedures to guide job duties. Level specific criteria are evaluated annually and can be found in the MNM Clinical Ladder.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• License to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.

• BLS certified
