Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for the night shift in a fast-paced Houston hospital. You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have ED experience, an active RN license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke, and crisis intervention. Magnet environment and leadership growth opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum one year of RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Prior Emergency Department experience strongly required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED environment highly preferred.
• Active RN license (or Compact License eligible).
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (within 4 months), NIH Stroke Certification (within 4 months), Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification (within 4 months).

Job Details

The Registered Nurse is an experienced clinician who provides professional nursing care to a diverse and often complex patient population. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment implementation, medication administration, patient education, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.

This nurse serves as a patient advocate while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compassionate care. The role also provides opportunities for leadership through precepting, charge nurse responsibilities, and participation in unit-based initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Required Experience

• Minimum one year of RN experience in a healthcare setting
