The Registered Nurse is an experienced clinician who provides professional nursing care to a diverse and often complex patient population. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment implementation, medication administration, patient education, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
This nurse serves as a patient advocate while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compassionate care. The role also provides opportunities for leadership through precepting, charge nurse responsibilities, and participation in unit-based initiatives.
