Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, delivering, and managing direct patient care using the nursing process and adhering to nursing standards.

General Description: The staff RN, under supervision, is responsible for patient care, acting as Charge Nurse/Resource Nurse, and coordinating care. The goal is to help patients move safely and efficiently through hospitalization.
Work Experience Requirements: Minimum of one year of medical-surgical experience preferred.
Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited nursing school, current license by the Massachusetts B.O.R.N., and certifications including BLS (AHA). Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP, or CEN are required or preferred based on the unit.
