We are seeking an Emergency Department RN to join our Emergent Care Team!

The ER Nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who is accountable for the delivery of quality care to patients with varied diagnoses in our 13-bed, fast-paced Emergency Room. This includes:

1. Assessing, coordinating, and participating in the care and teaching for patients.
2. Ensuring that patient care is delivered in collaboration with the patient, family members, physicians, peers, and other members of the healthcare team.
3. Maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting and creating exceptional patient/family experiences during care delivery.
4. Providing competent care for acute stroke, cardiac, pediatrics, geriatrics, and trauma patients.

Education requirements: RN program completion required; BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.

Experience: 1–2 years nursing experience in a practice setting.

Licensure: ME or compact RN license; BLS required.

Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; PALS and TNCC preferred; MOAB or equivalent training preferred.
