Job summary

Aspirus, Inc in Laurium, MI is seeking an occasional Registered Nurse to join their Emergency Room team. The position is full-time at 0.9 FTE, requiring night shifts and every third weekend.

The candidate must hold a current State of MI RN license and relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. The role involves direct patient care, communication with physicians, and possible cross-training to the ICU, with an emphasis on critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking an occasional REGISTERED NURSE to join our EMERGENCY ROOM team!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provides direct patient care.


• Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.


• Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition.


• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.


• Performs general nursing with adequate supervision.


• Will cross-train to the ICU.

HOURS: This position is Full Time; 0.9 FTE or 72 hours per pay period. Night Shift. Every third weekend.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current State of MI RN license


• ACLS required; PALS and TNCC required at next available course.


• ED / ICU nursing experience preferred.


• Must have excellent interpersonal, critical thinking and customer service skills.
