Job Summary

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for providing immediate and critical care to patients in emergency situations. This role includes rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients with various medical needs, injuries, and trauma. The RN also supports administrative functions, including documentation and insurance processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly assess patient needs in high-pressure environments
• Treat critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma cases
• Perform minor medical operations and procedures
• Clean and dress wounds to prevent infection
• Draw blood for testing and diagnostics
• Maintain emergency room care and safety standards
• Assist patients with insurance paperwork and administrative forms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current RN license to practice in the state of Nevada
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
